Morning crash

The Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) Department responded to a call of a two-vehicle collision around 9 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 601 in front of Pondish Construction. LF-R Chief Dennis Ray said in a press release a Ford F-150 pickup turned in front of a Pontiac sports car, which hit the truck on the right side. Ray said both vehicles were heavily damaged, but the drivers received minor injuries. Both were taken to KershawHealth by EMS.
