A memorial service for Mildred Wiles, 84, of Lugoff, will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Camden Garden Club to host first meeting of new year
The Camden Garden Club will hold its next meeting on Monday at the home of Mrs. Nancy Langston. The house is a sprawling ranch with an open floorplan making it perfect for a meeting. The program this month is all about living with orchids. The speaker will be Mr. Stan Hutto who is the past president of the South Carolina Orchid Society.
