Almost There Party and Premier Photographic Exhibit will be held Nov. 6

Historic Camden will be hosting the "Almost There Party Premier Photograph Exhibit" by Cynthia Davis-Fussell from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the John McCaa House (McCaa's Tavern). A follow-up of last fall's popular "Bare Walls Party," this event will give guests the opportunity to see the progress of the restoration of McCaa's Tavern that occurred during the past 12 months. The event will also include a festive evening of food and entertainment, with music provided by local talents Ed Grossheim and Friends.

Funeral services for Ruth Neely "Memaw" Rabon, 90, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Boone and the Rev. Doug Whitfield will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
