Around 9:40 p.m. Dec. 22, the Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) was dispatched to a structural fire at the Waffle House restaurant on U.S. 601 in Lugoff. Charles L. Gotto (Chuck) died Christmas morning, of Nazareth, Penn. and Camden, S.C., at 8:25 two days after his 94 birthday at Cool Springs Place,in Franklin Tennessee. Charles and his wife Mary had been living in Brentwood,Tennessee with their daughter,Ouida and son-in-law,Buzz Arledge since November 3,where Mary will continue to reside.
