To those kind folks in Camden who so generously paid tribute to "Jacky" James and for the generosity shown in giving generously toward a dog rescue in Chesapeake (City, Md., Paws for Life). I have been sent a photo of a lovely looking male dog which has been saved from death row and been adopted by some kind person.

LFD stretched thin during storm

Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) resources were stretched thin Wednesday afternoon when a severe thunderstorm ran through the community causing numerous issues that included lightning strikes, ripped down power lines blocking roads, flooding rains closing roads, trees knocked down over roadways and in yards, strong winds, hail, and activated fire alarms.
