The change jangling around in your pocket might be looking different soon, as the U.S. Mint is exploring ways to change the composition of metals it uses to make quarters, dimes and nickels. ‘Boykin’ to open Thursday at Fine Arts Center

The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will open its next exhibition in conjunction with the first chamber music concert of the season on Thursday. "Boykin," featuring the works of sisters and local artists Lisa Boykin Adams and Marti Boykin Wallace, will open their upcoming exhibition with a catered reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Bassett Gallery. The exhibition is sponsored by First Community Bank. Catering is provided by Carolina Café, and will be followed by a chamber music concert featuring Decoda with Claire Bryant. The exhibition runs through March 5.
