Two dozen KC wrestlers earn spots in Carolina Invitational

Led by a combined 16 qualifiers from Lugoff-Elgin High School and Lugoff-Elgin Middle School, there will be 24 Kershaw County junior varsity and middle school wrestlers who will be taking part in Saturday's Carolina Invitational wrestling tournament.

A heritage of public facilities

The exotic snakes were released where Historic Camden now sits. The traveling carnival had gone broke and the owner of the snakes could no longer afford to feed them. so several large and non-native snakes were set free to fend for themselves in Pine Tree Creek. Jim Thornton said this incident happened during the Great Depression.

YMCA/sports complex will benefit all

For several months I watched the pro and con actions concerning the Camden Sports Complex. As the information seemed to be so different, I decided to research the topic myself. As I researched the argument against the Camden Sports Complex, it evolved from one reason to another and then another. First, it would compete with local business, then it was too large an expenditure. ‘Chicago -- The Musical’ takes the stage at the FAC
