Man arrested following stand-off

Kershaw County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) deputies arrested a 40-year-old Fairfield County man Thursday night following a two-hour stand-off with Kershaw County deputies in the cemetery of a church on Springvale Road.

Jessie Mae Holiday

Mrs. Jessie Mae "Bell" Holiday, 86, of Hampton Virginia and formerly of Camden died Friday. Friends may call at 1955 Bunker Hill Road, Elgin at the residence of her son Nathaniel McKenney. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date by Browns Funeral Home, Camden which is serving the Holiday family.

Mrs. Mary Lou Phillips, 85, of Camden, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, May 4, 2013 at the Presbyterian Home in Florence, SC. Betty Lou Williams

There's a new angel in Heaven and she has a paintbrush in her hand! Betty Lou McMahan Williams, 93, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was born in Marietta, Georgia on May 7, 1919 to Edgar Oliver and Beth Coe McMahan. Mrs. Williams grew up in Sanford, N.C., graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. and taught school in Waynesboro, Va. She married Clyde Irwin Williams on August 1, 1942. Betty Lou served in the American Red Cross in World War II.
