Eula Mae Chambers was born on September 17, 1955 to Attie and L.J. Seegars. Eula attended Mt. Pisgah School in Kershaw, SC, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina and worked as a Social Worker. She married her husband of 34 years, Harvey Chambers in 1979. On April 15, 1985, Eula was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral service for William Stephen McIntyre, 60, will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at El-Bethel Faith Community Church Don Poeta Family Life Center with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Beulah McCaskill

Mrs. Beulah McCaskill, 100, of Bethune, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Born in Bethune, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Ida Davis Corbett and the wife of the late Nero McCaskill. A Celebration of Life and Homegoing Services will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Eleven a.m., at Sandy Level Baptist Church, Bethune, with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. McCaskill will be placed in the church at Ten a.m. for viewing. Brown's Funeral Home, Camden is serving the McCaskill family.

Mr. James Burrell "Jimmy" Knight, Jr., 49, of Liberty Hill, husband of Lisa Blackmon Knight, passed away Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at William Jennings Bryan Dorn V.A. Hospital in Columbia. He was born June 13, 1965 in Lancaster, a son of James Burrell Knight, Sr. and Clydia S. Knight. Jimmy was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He was a volunteer firefighter with Beaver Creek Fire Department. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed living on the lake, staying busy, and pulling pranks on everyone.
