Lugoff bank robbed

A man who robbed First Palmetto Savings Bank's Lugoff branch at gunpoint around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday remained at large Thursday afternoon. According to the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office (KCSO), the man walked into the bank, pulled out a silver pistol and demanded the teller give him all her loose bills. KCSO Chief Deputy Marvin Brown described the suspect as a "white male, tall, slender with a grubby beard wearing a white shirt and blue jeans" and is believed to be 25 to 30 years old.
