The opposite feeling occurs when your arrow veers way off target and gets stuck in a rut or something. You then have a feeling of discouragement and failure. Failure is a very bad feeling.

IRS reform

People in this country -- no doubt many right here in Kershaw County -- are angry with the Internal Revenue Service and its heavy-handed methods. Of course, the IRS has never been popular, and probably wouldn't be if the agency did everything by the book. But its recent targeting of conservative groups has spotlighted the venom with which overzealous bureaucrats can operate. Adding to it are recent revelations about profligate spending on travel and "training" by IRS employees.

Zion Hill presents gospel play

The Rev. Iris E. Kennedy, Pastor of Zion Hill A.M.E. Zion Church brings to the community a gospel play presented by The Kennedy Production. The play is called "I Can't Give Up Now" and will have two showings on Saturday. The show will take place at 4 and 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center's Wood Auditorium located at 810 Lyttleton St. in Camden.
