Keeping free speech alive

I recently posted an article on the Kershaw County Patriots page on Facebook that seems to have stirred up a bit of a controversy. The article was entitled "When is It OK to Shoot a Cop." I asked that anyone who wished to comment on the article read it first. With the exception of myself, no one commented on the article. The page is an open page and all comments are welcome as a way to open a healthy debate. Time with the family

The Jackson High School Class of 1970's recent family day rummage sale had plenty to offer: school supplies, clothing, jewelry, lemonade, as enjoyed by Taja Atkins, and hot dogs served up by Kershaw County Council Vice Chairman Sammie Tucker Jr. Class members said they will invest proceeds from the day in the future by funding student scholarships. The sale was held at the former Continuous Learning Center building on York Street.
