Camden diaper drive to benefit Sistercare

A diaper drive is being held at local businesses in the Camden area to benefit Sistercare, a partner agency with United Way that provides services for battered women and children. Boxes are set up at Newman's Furniture, Atlas Gym, Carolina Cafe and the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce. The drive will end at the close of business on Feb. 12. Former Camdenite Manda McKay's painting "Love You To Death" won "Best In Show" at Southworks 2013. The Oconee County Arts Foundation (OCAF) hosted the opening reception April 12 in Watkinsville, Georgia. McKay grew up in Camden and graduated from Camden High School.
