The Mid Carolina Credit Union will host a food drive, a branch wide bake sale to benefit the United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) and a free community shred event on Thursday.

The Blaney-Elgin Museum & Historical Society begins wreath sales for veteran’s graves

The Blaney-Elgin Museum & Historical Society are selling Christmas wreaths through Wreaths Across America for the Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The placing of wreaths on veteran's graves are a great tribute to the men and women who have given so much for the freedom enjoyed each day. This year, the Fort Jackson Cemetery needs 3,500 wreaths to cover each veteran's graves. The Wreath Laying Cemetery will be held at the cemetery on December 13, 2014, at 12 Noon.
