Lugoff -- Mrs. Mattie W. Honis, 91, of Lugoff, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Born in Lugoff, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alie Ballard Murphy. Visitation will be held today, March 9, 2015 from six to eight p.m., at Chapel of Remembrance, Brown's Funeral Home. Browns Funeral Home, Camden, is serving the Honis family.

Kennedy M. Hagins

Camden -- Mr. Kennedy M. "Bossy" Haggins, 58, of Camden, entered into eternal rest on Wedensday, March 4, 2015. Born in Bishopville, SC he was the son of the late Tom and Mell Jackson Haggins. A Celebration of Life and Homegoing Services was held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Three p.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery, Bethune. Brown's Funeral Home, Camden did serve the Haggins family.

Funeral services for James J. Gardner, 98, were held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial following in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Cameron officiated. The family received friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
