The Charlotte Thompson community's annual barbecue is always a special rite of spring, along with flowering bulbs and budding trees. Now in its 45th year, the annual barbecue has been an enormous help to the Charlotte Thompson community and its residents have worked hard to make it a huge success each year. So many people have rendered yeoman service in this labor of love which is, indeed, a community effort.

Easter Egg Hunt

Let's Move Camden and Kershaw County is having its' Second Annual Active and Healthy Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Camden Town Green for kids age 3 to 8. Come for a fun time with the egg hunt, Easter egg races, face painting, and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Bring an Easter basket and camera.

A service to celebrate the Life of Wanda Sue Powers, 64, will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Outreach with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev.
