Kiwanis of Camden turns 75

The Kiwanis Club of Camden celebrated 75 years of community service in May by participating in an international effort to help eliminate maternal and neo-natal tetanus (MNT). Board of School Trustees set to approve new budget

The Kershaw County Board of School Trustees is set to approve its preliminary 2013-14 budget of around $69 million at its meeting Tuesday night. That is despite the fact that Kershaw County Council has yet to respond to the Kershaw County School District's (KCSD) millage request. In addition, as of Friday, South Carolina legislators had yet to pass the Fiscal Year 2014 state budget.
