Mary Lee Taylor-Kinosian, violinist with The Upton Trio, took a guess for the ensemble's 2012 education project: the History of America's Space Program. Taylor-Kinosian composed a 21-minute "multi-movement" chamber piece that embodied the journey of NASA's "Range Rover" from Earth to Mars.
