Two Columbia men were arrested after stealing meat and fish from the IGA in east Camden -- by hiding it in a wheelchair. According to a Kershaw County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) press release, Cory Prophet, 32, and Leroy Henry Boykin, 63, were caught on videotape stealing on Nov. 6, 2012. CHS newspaper wins first Palmetto Award in 14 years

Camden High School's (CHS) Palmetto Leaf newspaper staff won a total of eight awards from the South Carolina Scholastic Press Association (SCSPA) in April.
