Post 17 to host tryouts on Wednesday
The James Leroy Belk Post 17 Kershaw County Senior and Junior American Legion baseball teams will both begin tryouts for the 2013 summer season on Wednesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at American Legion Park in Camden.

Rain throws a wrench into playoffs
Monday's inclement weather played havoc with state playoff games involving the Camden and Lugoff-Elgin baseball and softball teams, forcing those four games to be played on Tuesday with no day off for, at least, three of the possible winners.
