In just their second year of existence, the Camden High girls' golf team can sympathize with the growing pains which their cross-river neighbors are experiencing.
Louis Clyburn had a good feeling as he led North Central back onto the field for the second half of Friday's game with in-county rival Camden Military Academy. Across the way, his opposite number and CMA head coach Will Rice, was hoping against hope that his Spartans could finish the job.

When Camden Military headed to North Central last season, it was a trip into the great unknown for the visitors who were playing with an almost totally revamped roster and without a game under its belt.
Lugoff-Elgin finished second with Camden High a spot behind in third place in an 11-team boys' cross-country meet hosted by CHS on Wednesday at Historic Camden.

Former Camden High volleyball standout and current North Carolina State University sophomore Maggie Speaks was named to the UNCW Hilton Garden Inn Classic All-Tournament team following the Wolfpack's 2-0 finish at last weekend's tourney played in Wilmington, N.C.
You know, with as popular as this contest is and its contestants are, you would think that at least one of the Fearless Forecast gang would have been invited to participate on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
