When he left Camden High School following his graduation in 2009 to continue his academic and basketball pursuits, Evrik Gary needed only to hop on I-20 East and head for Florence and Francis Marion University. Among the reasons he chose to attend FMU was the school's proximity to his home and family in Camden.
