The Kershaw County Gamecock Club will once again meet at The Old Town Tavern on Broad Street in downtown Camden on Monday evenings this football season.
If you were to draw lines between all the intersecting parts of the coaching staffs at North Central and the Camden Military Academy football teams, it might look like something out of the Matrix.

All prospective junior varsity and ninth grade football players at Camden High School who would like to play for either of those teams are asked to attend an organizational meeting on Thursday, Aug. 9 starting at 5 p.m. in the Commons Area located inside the CHS gym.

Regardless of what the weatherman says, Kershaw County's four high school baseball teams will open their seasons with a trio of pre-season tournaments starting Saturday and continuing throughout next week.
The eighth annual Clinic Classic 5K walk/run, presented by McDonald's of Camden, and the Camden Family Care one-mile run/walk will take to the streets of Camden on Saturday, April 18.
