Dorton gets best of Montgomery as 17ers hand Sumter first defeat, 4-2

SUMTER -- The Sumter P-15's had a chance to separate themselves from Kershaw County Post 17 in the American Legion baseball League III standings on Tuesday at Riley Park. Instead, Sumter finds itself in a two-team battle for first at the midway point of the league schedule.
