DALZELL – One night after a 20-1 thumping at the hands of West Columbia, the Kershaw County Post 17 American Legion team rallied from a 9-1 deficit against host Dalzell-Shaw, but could not complete and comeback in a 9-8 loss to the Jets in a game played at Thomas Sumter Academy's General Field on Friday.

Having faced each team in League IV play, at least, once, Kershaw County American Legion head coach Craig Smith figures it is time to release the puppies from their pen and let them fend for themselves.
Brock Robinson threw five innings of shutout ball as the Kershaw County Post 17 Junior American Legion team kicked off their season with a 9-2 win over host Manning last Wednesday night in League III action.
