After having overcome a two-run deficit to send the game into extra innings, the Camden baseball team was unable to overcome Fairfield Central's three-run top of the eighth as the host Bulldogs fell to FC, 5-3, in a Tuesday night contest played at chilly American Legion Park.

Lugoff-Elgin scored four first half goals and that was more than enough as the Demons defeated rival Camden, 5-2, in Wednesday's non-region boys' soccer match played at the Camden High Athletic Complex on Ehrenclou Drive.
