Camden Crew wins dance competition

The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County is pleased to announce yet another successful competition win for the its Camden Crew under the direction of Kelley's Fine Arts (KFA). The KFA Dance Company just returned home after completing a very successful competition in Supply, N.C. The "Beyond The Stars" regional competition consisted of 400 routines from 15 different studios. The KFA Camden Crew is proud to have won and brought home two of the three highest scores of the entire competition. LGC meets Monday

Lugoff Garden Club will hold its March meeting Monday at Sarah Holmberg's home in Ridgeway, with Karen Wendel as co-hostess. The social hour begins at 6:30 p.m. and the speaker's presentation starts at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Liz Gilland, urban forester for the city of Camden. Nashville recording artist Joal Rush will appear Friday, March 16 at the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County. Easter at Aberdeen

Larry Graham, chair of Mental Health America of Kershaw County, recently announced they would be hosting their fifth annual Easter Family Tour at Aberdeen, home of Jack Brantley. Graham said, "Jack Brantley has again opened his home and grounds to our organization for a fund-raising opportunity. Our mission is to promote mental health and to work for improved care, treatment and quality of life for persons with mental illness."
