The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will present its 10th annual Jazz at the Center Music Festival, April 25-27, in historic downtown Camden. The featured concert this year takes place at 8 p.m. Saturday in Wood Auditorium, following a cocktail reception from 7 to 8 p.m. in the lobby. Alvin and Joanne Hopkins recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. The couple was married on March 21, 1964, at the home of the Rev. Joe Hood. They have two children, Wesley (BK) Hopkins and Lynn (Jackie) Hopkins; two grandchildren, William Hopkins and Justin Hopkins, two step-grandchildren, Lauren Langford and Josh Napper; and one step-greatgrandchild, Vance Langford.

Let's Move Camden and Kershaw County is having the first annual "Active and Healthy Easter Egg Hunt" on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the lot next to the Farmer's Market in Camden (corner of Rutledge and Church Streets) for kids aged three to eight. Let's Move is the Michelle Obama federal program working against childhood obesity. Community members are encouraged to come join the fun time with Easter Egg Races and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
