Spreading cheer

During the Christmas season, community volunteers from Target assisted in decorating the cottages of New Day on Mill. More than 15 people volunteered this year to go through decorations, untangle lights and press bows. Each cottage had a tree, lights and a door wreath and any other decorations they could find to make the homes festive. One resident said, "This is the first time I've ever had a Christmas tree in my home." Volunteers showed up on Dec. 13 and worked hard to make the homes look festive.
