Raymond W. Mushal, 68, of Bethesda, MD, was a U.S. Department of Justice attorney and one of the pioneers of environmental prosecution. A native of North Branford, CT, he graduated with a BA in political science from Yale University in 1966, after which he enlisted in the army. During his first year in Viet Nam as an intelligence officer he ran unilateral operations south of Saigon in support of the Ninth Infantry Division, and he spent his second year in the Delta as an intelligence advisor to the Vietnamese military.

Mr. William "Bill" Carlos entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Kershaw Health. He was born in Camden, South Carolina, on February 19, 1929, to the late John and Ida Carlos. He was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County. He attended Kirkwood Elementary School and graduated from Jackson High School. He later worked as a presser and tailor at a local cleaners. Bill lived the majority of his adult life in Mt. Vernon, New York. He retired from the New York Sanitation Department prior to relocating to Camden, South Carolina.
