She was a graduate of Benedict College and she retired as a teacher from the Kershaw County Public School System. Joyce Tucker Supplee, who would have been 92 on July 4, died at Kershaw Health's Karesh Wing on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Born July 4, 1923, in Monona, IA, Joyce grew up in Wheaton, IL. Joyce's high soprano voice -- clear, natural and light -- shaped her education at Wheaton College, her choice of work at Chicago radio station WMBI, and was instrumental in helping her meet a radio show producer and fellow Wheaton graduate, Bill Supplee. Not long after they were married Bill took a job as director of the music department at Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International ...
