Mary Magdalene "Maggie" Wilson Roberts, 72, of Baltimore, Maryland, formerly of Camden, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Mrs. Roberts was born September 4, 1939. She was the daughter of the late John Wilson, Sr. and the late Lillie Belle Oliver Wilson. She was predeceased by one brother Clarence Leon Wilson and one step-sister Annie Lee Miller. She was a member of the 1958 graduating class of Jackson High School.

Jeffrey Stone Norwood, a blues musician who performed up and down the East Coast as well as in the Mississippi Delta, died Sunday at 50.
Helen Jean Lanin, of Elgin, has passed on. Helen was born on November 29, 1938 in Houston Texas. She is a graduate of LaPorte High School and Stephen F. Austin College. She was a teacher and real estate agent who loved reading and crafts.

God gave me the gift of life through my parents, Lawton M. Truesdale (deceased) and Virginia S. Truesdale on November 20, 1948. I have been a fortunate man who led a successful and full life in Camden, SC. For 30 years I worked at the City of Camden in the electrical and administration department. I retired in 1996.
