Atkins Alspaugh and the late Loyd Alspaugh. She worked for the United Sates Government in Arlington, Virginia before moving to South Carolina where she lived in Columbia, Camden and Mt. Pleasant.

Tommie Rye Downey Pylant died January 25, 2015 after a short illness. She was 100 years old. Born on July 6, 1914 in Hohenwald, TN, she was the daughter of James R. and Ethel D. Downey. She was the secretary to the Headmaster at Camden Military Academy for many years. The Academy named a residence on the campus 'Pylant House' in honor of her service to the School. She was an active member of the McRae Road Church of Christ for over 50 years.
Mary Hazel Ray Few, 79, of Liberty Hill passed away Tuesday morning, January 27th, nearly a year of the death of her husband, William Eugene "Coach Bill" Few who passed February 6th, 2014. Hazel is survived by sons Martin Alan, Gerald Stephen, Joel Brian, Timothy Scott, Christopher Todd, and daughter Dr. Suzanne Quinn. Bill and Hazel also have a deceased son William Eugene.
