Even though her team may have jumped into the driver's seat when it comes to the Region 4-AAA volleyball standings, Camden head coach Paige Wilson is still not conceding that the Lady Bulldogs are ready to park the car in the garage.
In spite of having six runners finishing in less than 20 minutes each, the Camden High boys' cross country team lost for the first time this season last Wednesday in a home meet at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Park.
For the past two seasons, Hartsville's Brian Rivers has been a thorn in Camden's side in rushing for 386 yards and six touchdowns. Then, last season, his backfield partner, Shy McPhail, chipped in with 130 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Bulldogs.
