Tuesday afternoon, a large group of family and friends gathered to fete Dr. Larry Parrott in Camden's Rectory Square. The ceremony, part of the city of Camden's Leader's Legacy Recognition Program, included the official dedication of a memorial Leadership Legacy bench to Parrott for his years of service to the community.

During Tuesday's Camden City Council meeting, City Manager Mel Pearson said the S.C.
