Johnson takes oath as solicitor

Kershaw County government offices closed Monday

The County of Kershaw posted the following message on Facebook Sunday afternoon: All County Government Offices, Recycle Centers, and Landfill will be closed on Monday, January 10th 2011 due to Inclement Weather. County officials will evaluate the weather on Monday to determine if offices will reopen on Tuesday at 8:30 am or be delayed later Tuesday Morning.

LFD gives KCC good news

Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) Chief Dennis Ray had some good news for Kershaw County Council Tuesday: there would be no tax increase of the Lugoff Fire District. Ray said that after completing its Fiscal Year 2014 budget, a tax increase was not necessary.
