Fill the Boot kick off is Monday

Members of the Camden Fire Department along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, will host a special event to kick off the fire fighters' annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign and continue a 60-year tradition of helping save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease in Camden and throughout Kershaw County. Stolen vehicle and marijuana possession

A lieutenant and investigator with the Kershaw County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit were on Red Hill Road in Camden when they noticed a grey Subaru with a temporary tag that looked weathered and illegible. The agents noticed the tag did not look consistent with temporary tags they have seen through their experience in law enforcement. They conducted a lawful traffic stop on Red Hill Road, and told the driver the reason for the traffic stop.
