KCSD to keep schools closed Wednesday

Kershaw County School District (KCSD) schools and offices will be closed yet again Wednesday due to the effects of freezing temperatures. KCSD Communications Director Mary Anne Byrd sent the following statement to the media mid-afternoon Tuesday:

The threat of a wintry mix is closing all Kershaw County School District (KCSD) schools and offices Monday, according to an e-mail sent to the media by KCSD Communications Director Mary Anne Byrd just after 6 p.m. Sunday.

Ken and Nadine Delano demonstrated how to take a simple poem and make it come alive. The fourth- grade students in Tonya Seay's class enjoyed getting to act out a poem in front of their peers.
