Broadway, blues and bluegrass, Cokes and popcorn, wine and hors d'oeuvres. Sounds like a party. And that's just what the Fine Arts Center Gala will be -- a huge party for all ages from 7-9 p.m. at the arts center.
Several Kershaw County students and advisors were recognized for their accomplishments at the August 5 school board meeting. Lugoff-Elgin High's tennis team, coached by Mitch Lowder and Trudy Reeves, finished fourth in State AA competition with an 11-3 record, the best in the school's history.
