It took a soon-to-be 4A foe to do it, but North Central's volleyball team's season-opening win streak came to an end in a 2-0 loss to Westwood on Tuesday night.
North Central will host the eighth annual Carolina Challenge Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 21 at The Castle in Boonetown.
