CamdenART Honors Show and Sale opens today

CamdenART, an affiliate organization of the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will open its annual Honors Show and Sale today with a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Bassett Gallery. This year's exhibition is entitled "From the Earth" and will feature the works of the winners of the CamdenART fall juried show along with other members of CamdenART. KCMA Member-Guest music showcase is Sunday

The Kershaw County Music Association (KCMA,) an affiliate organization of the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will hold its annual Member-Guest Showcase in celebration of Mother's Day this Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium. Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend this annual event.

FAC seeks artists for 2017-18 season

The Bassett Gallery at the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County is currently accepting artist materials for consideration for exhibition in the Bassett Gallery to be scheduled from September 2017 through May 2018. Submissions for both solo and group exhibitions will be considered.

Chamber Music Series finale is Thursday

The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will present the last concert of the 2016-17 Chamber Music Series on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium with Chamber Music Southeast. The Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County is pleased to present the Kershaw County Music Association (KCMA) annual Spring Instrumental Showcase Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium. 'You Gotta Have Art' winners

The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) announces the winners of the 2017 "You Gotta Have Art" Youth Arts Month Exhibition. This juried exhibition is an annual event in partnership with the Kershaw County School District (KCSD.) Students' work was submitted by participating schools' K-12 art teachers. "Women...The Real Heroes" will open with a catered reception from 6 - 7:30 p.m. just prior to the opening night of Camden Community Theatre's of Steel Magnolias. Footloose starts tonight

Want to go back to the '80s this weekend? "Footloose" starts tonight at The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County. The show will run for two weekends - tonight through Sunday, Nov. 6; and again Friday, Nov. 11 through Sunday, Nov. 13. Evening shows are at 8 p.m., and the Sunday performances will be held at 3 p.m.

FAC Multi-Cultural Committee seeks input

The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County's (FAC) Multi-Cultural committee is currently planning its 2015-2016 season. The committee would like to invite other cultural representatives of the community to join the committee and share their thoughts and ideas about the possibility of a holiday event to showcase different cultures. Finally Friday kicks off Cup Weekend at Town Green

The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) kicks off its 2015 Finally Friday Free Concert Series with a special edition on Friday on the Town Green with local band KT & Friends. The concert will be held from 6 – 8:30 p.m. This special Pre-Carolina Cup Kick Off is made possible by the City of Camden, along with sponsors NBSC, Powers Funeral Home, Alpine Agency, Warrior Fitness Camden, Graham Realty, City Laundry and Cleaners and TruVista. March is Youth Arts Month

March is Youth Arts Month and the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County is gearing up for a great month of celebrating youth arts.
