Dear Annie: My son's estranged wife has reported him to child protective services six times and to the police for various things she's invented over the past three years. Due to her false accusations, he has been arrested three times. He has been found innocent of all charges, but she persists.
Dear Annie: I am a 16-year-old girl in high school. I have so much to be thankful for, but recently, I have been feeling like something is wrong with me. Quite frankly, I am depressed. I am always tired, anxious and nervous, and I have outrageous mood swings. I have lost all focus, ambition and motivation, and sometimes it just hurts to breathe. I hate to use this as an excuse ...
Dear Annie: I have worked for many years at a small family-owned company.
Dear Annie: I'm a 13-year-old girl. Last night, my mom and I decided to watch a movie together at home.
Dear Annie: I am 73, and my wife is 68. We've been married 36 years, and we are healthy, active churchgoers. My wife had two young children when we married, and our son, "Cal," is now 34. We have helped all three of our kids financially, as well as with babysitting, yard work, etc. And we are frugal, partly so we can leave as much money to the kids as possible.
Dear Annie: My bullheaded 50-year-old daughter has taken gossip from 32 years ago to make my life a living hell. I have four grown children. My older daughter called everyone she could think of and told them I molested my son when he was 5. My daughter never checked to see whether it was true. I have never been arrested for this or had charges filed against me. She further told all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that they should never stop at my home.
Dear Annie: My daughter has a master's degree in education and spent three years as a nanny when she was an undergraduate.
Dear Annie: My wife and I are caught up in our son's dysfunctional marriage. "Martin" and his wife have three children together, and he has an older child from a previous marriage. All of the children are wonderful. They do well in school. But their mom and dad hate each other, drink too much and fight constantly.
Dear Annie: I've been married to "Ned" for 25 years, and each year it seems to get worse. When we married, he told me I could do whatever I wanted with the house, but he never said I'd be the one paying.
Dear Annie: I have an 8-month-old puppy, and I take her to a local dog park so she can run off leash and play with the other dogs, which she loves. In the three months I have been taking her, "Phoebe" has never been attacked or fought with another dog. That was until last night, when Phoebe approached another dog that was on a leash and that dog attacked her.
Dear Annie: I am finally divorced. My ex and I have a minor child together. He has met my new partner, and they get along great while at our son's sporting events. I thought it would be healthy for our son to see us as friends. I also thought it would be nice to meet my ex's new girlfriend since they've been a couple as long as I've been with my guy. ...
Dear Annie: My husband and I have been happily married for 15 years and recently decided to try an open-marriage lifestyle. We are doing this with full honesty and respect for each other. The main problem is that the dating success is not equal. I found it easier to get a date. Whereas, my husband is having a tremendous degree of difficulty. He has online dating profiles, but no luck.
Dear Annie: My grandfather passed away last month, and the wake was catered by a close friend of the family who owns a restaurant. He closed off a section of his dining hall for our family.
Dear Annie: I am a 57-year-old man with no siblings, and my mother is deceased. My 82-year-old father is physically healthy, but he's in the early stages of dementia.
Dear Annie: Recently, my wife and I stayed for four days at the home of one of her school chums.
Dear Annie: I have been married to the love of my life for several years.
Dear Annie: My wife and I are going through a divorce after 23 years of marriage. We just grew apart.
