Chris Oviatt, the Republican nominee for Kershaw County auditor, was listed in the Kershaw County delinquent tax sale roll in Wednesday's edition of the Chronicle-Independent for a property on Broad Street in Camden.
City council candidates have their say
Speaking to perhaps 30 people in Camden High School's auditorium, three candidates vying for two seats on Camden City Council had their last chance to present their views on how to secure Camden's future Tuesday night. Incumbent Walter Long faced challengers Phyllis Hampton Dye and X. Willard Polk during a forum sponsored by the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce and Kershaw County School District.
