Wood enters House District 79 race

With Anton Gunn resigning his District 79 seat to accept a position as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the S.C. Democratic Party has been looking for a new candidate to face Republican Sheri Few in November. One candidate, Todd Wood of Kershaw County, has come forward.

Cobb takes leave from FAC for Sheheen campaign

Camden native Kristin Cobb has taken a leave of absence from her position as executive director for the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) to join State Sen. Vincent Sheheen's gubernatorial campaign as the communications director.
