During the month of May, the Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) and Lugoff Dollar General location teamed up through a "Help End Hunger" campaign to collect and distribute food items within the Lugoff community. Members of the Lugoff community and the surrounding areas were asked to drop off unopened non-perishable food items at the Lugoff Dollar General. These food items will be collected at the store and picked up by LFD firefighters to be distributed to needy families in the Lugoff area.
