Around 9:40 p.m. Dec. 22, the Lugoff Fire Department (LFD) was dispatched to a structural fire at the Waffle House restaurant on U.S. 601 in Lugoff. The Lugoff Fire Department escorted Santa Claus for evening visits through Lugoff neighborhoods earlier this month. The department also sponsored the opportunity for youngsters to have their photos taken with Santa Claus at the fire station.
