The Kershaw County Democratic Women's Organization recently made a donation to the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County to honor the contributions of several of their former members. Tributes were read and a check presented in their honor for Virginia Furman, Louisa Watkins and Pat Watts. FAC executive director Kristin Cobb accepted the donation at the meeting. Kershaw County Master Gardeners will be offering a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a deserving Kershaw County School District Senior to assist in their post secondary education in the pursuit of Agriculture and/or Horticulture Sciences. Applicants must be a Kershaw County School District graduating senior. Scholarship focus will be awarded on your vision to impact of the Agriculture and/or Horticulture industry.
