Cashion to return from Afghanistan Oct. 28

Soldiers form the 135th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Alabama Army National Guard, will return to Birmingham Oct. 28 after a one-year deployment to Afghanistan. The unit is expected to return to the Birmingham National Guard armory.

Foster Care Review Board 5E members (from left) Mary Long, Sandra Inabinet and Chair Laurie Parks helped host 50 Camden women on Dec. 10 for what it is calling the First Annual Girls' Night Out Christmas Party." The "party with a purpose" collected donations for 13 Kershaw County foster children ages 2 to 18 years old.
