Lugoff-Elgin High School students help restore history

Camden's Revolutionary War Site's palisade wall – which is a wooden fence as defense mechanism -- was built in the 1970s to represent the fortified border of 1780-81 Camden. On Wednesday and Thursday, more than 200 Lugoff-Elgin High JROTC students helped take down that wall.

Camden Middle School, Amari show the love

n 2012, when Camden resident Amari Williams was nine-years-old, his concerned mother, Camisha Williams, took him to the doctor because he had swollen feet. Amari and his mother were immediately sent to Palmetto Children's Hospital and from there to the Medical University of South Carolina's Children's Hospital that same day.
