Scrapbook for July 6, 2011

Independence Day (July 4th) is a great holiday! We don't give gifts. And most people don't send "Happy Fourth of July" cards. Families have traditions how to celebrate. The library is one of my favorite places. The workers there are friendly and helpful. I grew up in a very small town. The library was one, small room. That room had books and a desk -- that's all. The librarian checked out books, with a rubber stamp. The library wasn't much to look at. But there I explored new worlds in books.
