New logos unveiled for industrial sites

The Kershaw County Economic Development Office, with financial assistance from the Kershaw County Committee of 100, recently created new logos for three of the county's industrial parks. Fans camp out for new Chick-Fil-A in Camden

Twenty-four hours before the doors even opened at 6 a.m. Thursday, more than 225 people began camping out on the grounds of the new Chick-Fil-A. They did so in the hopes of being chosen as one of 100 special Chick-Fil-A fans. It's an event that has become a Chick-Fil-A tradition across the country. Beginning Wednesday at 6 a.m. anyone 18 and over had the opportunity to vie for 100 spots that would earn them a free meal each week for a year.

CBA to hear ‘road diet’ presentation

Members of the Camden Business Alliance (CBA) and their guests will have the chance to learn more about the city of Camden's proposed Broad Street "road diet" at the alliance's next Breakfast Before Hours to be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. The meeting will take place on the mezzanine level of TenEleven Galleria, 1011 Broad St., and feature representatives from the S.C. SAFE cuts ribbon on new Lugoff branch

SAFE Federal Credit Union officially opened its new branch in Lugoff with a ribbon cutting Thursday. The new facility replaces the SAFE location in Camden's Springdale Plaza. Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce President Spencer Graham opened the proceedings.
