U.S. Army Chaplain Jerry Johnson (right), son of Gerald and Carolyn Johnson of Cassatt, has been awarded the Bronze Star for his work while deployed to Afghanistan for his second tour of duty. Making the presentation was Capt. Wes Cannon. Johnson, who is stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y., was also awarded the Bronze Star after his first tour.
